Owner of Tyrepower Illawarra, Mike Stephenson, is about as local to Illawarra as anyone ever could be. His twin passions for motorsport and business joined together when Mike became the second NSW State Champion in the HQ racing. Supported by his wife, Clare, and recently joined by his son, Brenton, Mike strengthened Tyrepower Illawarra with his excellent leadership.
Since opening his first store in Dapto in 2000, Mike has gone on to achieve a level of business growth that is the envy of the competition. As an employer of over 25 loyal staff at five branches and two mechanical workshops across Illawarra, Tyrepower Illawarra has grown to be a leading force in the automotive services industry.
